SJVC has been awarded with and maintained the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000. The FSSC is perfectly aligned with our own manufacturing standards and procedures, and we are proud to guarantee the safety and quality of our products.
SJVC is one of the few companies with the ability to produce Orthodox Union Kosher grape colors. Our customers hold us in high regard because we manufacture high quality, OU Kosher-certified products that are not easily replicated by other companies. SJVC manufactures its colors from natural sources under year-round, 24-hour rabbinical supervision.
All of SJVC's products are Halal certified by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America.
We strive to operate an efficient and safe facility. SJVC personnel participate in monthly Safety trainings that highlight different topics each month. Not only do employees take a written test, but they also demonstrate their knowledge out in the field, which proves to be an effective program.
We have multi-year contracts for our grape and vegetable raw materials and can ensure supply security and traceability.
We have received Industrial Recycling and Zero Waste awards, utilize an on-site compost facility, and have installed cogeneration and solar electricity plants.
SJVC’s Great Ideas program encourages plant personnel to give ideas for improvement on all aspects of the company. SJVC is on the road to becoming the perfect plant.
